Afternoon Shift
Encapsulation/Tableting Machine Operator
Good Health Products is based in Albany on the North Shore and manufactures and produces natural health products for the local, tourism and export markets.
We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and EXPERIENCED Encapsulation/Tableting machine operator for our afternoon shift (3.30pm-midnight). Experience in engineering, running machinery and Food/Pharmaceutical qualifications are definite assets.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Set-up and operate encapsulation machinery efficiently so to meet deadlines
- Maintain the equipment in a good working order and clean condition.
- Cross check and record batching
- Maintain a clean and healthy work environment
- Carry out quality control practices
- Work cooperatively in a team environment
- Promote site safety
Specific Competencies required:
- Proven basic Mathematics and English competencies.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Demonstrated proficiency in accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze potential manufacturing problems and initiate appropriate solutions.
It would also be advantageous to have some experience with basic mixing and formulation of dry powders.
This job is open to NZ citizens or people currently living in New Zealand and who have a NZ work permit.
